Colorful Sasirangan fabrics decorated every corner of the venue, while all vendors proudly wore traditional Sasirangan batik attire. The atmosphere reflected the warmth and hospitality for which Banjar culture is known.

Visitors were immediately greeted by the aroma of authentic Banjar dishes. One of the most popular attractions was Soto Banjar, a flavorful chicken soup served with rice cakes, boiled eggs, and aromatic herbs. Nearby, guests enjoyed Ketupat Kandangan, a traditional dish featuring rice cakes and smoked fish in rich coconut milk sauce.

Other culinary highlights included Banjar Yellow Rice, Iwak Pakasam, Mandai, Gangan Asam, Lontong Orari, and a variety of traditional grilled specialties. Dessert lovers were delighted by the selection of Banjar cakes and sweets, including Bingka Barandam, Amparan Tatak, Wadai Ipau, Putri Selat, and many other traditional delicacies.

Throughout the day, cultural performances enriched the experience. Traditional Banjar music played through the venue, while cultural groups performed regional dances that captivated visitors.

In addition to food, visitors explored exhibitions featuring Sasirangan textiles, traditional handicrafts, gemstones, souvenirs, and products from local entrepreneurs. The bazaar successfully combined culinary tourism, cultural preservation, and economic development.

With the theme “Banjar Goes Global” the event demonstrated how traditional cuisine can serve as a powerful cultural ambassador. Through authentic flavors and meaningful cultural experiences, Banjar heritage was introduced to a wider international audience.
