Bajuin Waterfall

Bajuin Waterfall is located in Jorong, Bajuin District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan, and is managed by the local government. This destination offers not only the spectacular beauty of a cascading waterfall but also a rich natural environment that attracts nature enthusiasts and botanical explorers. Visitors can find a variety of wild forest orchids growing naturally on the surrounding trees, as well as the rare corpse flower (*Amorphophallus*), which blooms only occasionally. The presence of these endemic plant species makes Bajuin Waterfall an important site for environmental conservation and ecological education in Tanah Laut.

To reach the waterfall, visitors usually take a trekking route through the forest. Although moderately challenging, the trail is safe and well-maintained, complete with walking paths and directional signs. The journey provides a memorable experience for travelers who wish to enjoy the freshness of nature while exploring the tropical rainforest of Kalimantan. Around the waterfall is a spacious natural pool with clean, refreshing water, making it ideal for a relaxing swim or simply enjoying the cool atmosphere. Local authorities also provide information about local guides who can help visitors gain a deeper understanding of the area's ecosystem and biodiversity.
